Good question:
MyBIOS can access 32 Gb in logical drives and 64 Gb in images.
Fat32 can access 4 Gb.

MyIDE_hardware: I guess 132 Gb, that is the limit for standard LBA-addressing.

But to be sensible, with a 4 Gb card you can put on 4 times all Atari-software ;-)

What exactly IS the MyIDE-II? Does it replace the SIO2PC interface?

I realize this is kind of an old thread, but seemed like an appropriate place to ask.

Is this cartridge still available? I'd be interesting in purchasing one, however, would prefer using paypal.

Perhaps whomever is to proprietor could let me know either through an e-mail or PM here.

Thanks for your time.

Hi,

You should be able to buy this product using his homepage.
http://www.atarimax.com/myide/documentation/

Steve has abandoned paypal because they kept blocking his account.....
His site offers payment through your credit-card, as safe as paypal.

Grtz,
Sijmen.

I recently purchased this. I'm looking forward to getting it. I grew up with an Atari XE and learned programming on it. I now work in the field. About how long do the orders take to process? Thanks!

Hello, I am new the board, but have been using Atari 8-bit computers since the beginning ( and still do ).

Just wanted to ask a few questions .. I'm sure the answers are somewhere on this board, but thought I would post a current message

1) Is the MyIDE-II still available for sale ?

2) I am located in Canada, so I would prefer a better way of shipping than just 'Air Mail' ( possibly with a tracking # )

3) Is there a way of reading the 'Atari' partition of the Compact Flash card in a Windows based PC ? So that I could 'backup' some Atari files to my Windows PC ?

- If not, what is the easiest way to 'backup' or copy Atari files to a Windows based PC ?

Thanks in advance for any help !

1/Yes
https://www.atarimax.com/myide/documentation/

2/You have to ask Steve (the seller), or leave a remark on the order page?
<US orders will be shipped by USPS w/ Delivery Confirmation.
<International orders will be shipped by Air Mail unless special arrangements are made.
<If you wish to make payment arrangements other than credit card please e-mail me.

3/Yes, with MyIDE-tools (both ways PC<->Atari)

This is an interesting question. I'll try to find out again this winter

I ordered a MyIDE-II a long time ago and never really found a purpose for it, actually because of the sparse documentation, but maybe I just didn't find it.
Maybe it's an all-purpose device and everybody needs to find out themselves how to use it and I just didn't invest enough time in doing so.

Looking forward to long winter nights in 2021 :D
