Hi all,

Ok, I just got the MCS yesterday and was playing with Cartridge Dump section, taking my small cart collection and making rom images for Atari800 emu. I ran across MPP's Smart Terminal Cartridge and wasn't able to make a working rom file. I tried the 8k left and 16k cart options. The cart works in a real machine. Taking apart the cart revealed a small pcb and a unmarked epoxy glob.

Are there just some carts that cannot be imaged?

Is there another way of backing up this cart without spending an ungodly amount of money on hard to find hardware?

Fuji-Man

Can you post the 8k and 16k rom dumps? I'd suspect its just not making good contact. I doubt that its a bank switched cartridge.

Ok, found out the the pcb cartridge edge is very short. Pushing the cart all the way on missed the contacts, giving a bad cart read. Here is the new dump.
