Chapter 1: Installation Instructions

System Requirements

The Maxflash Studio software requires a PC running Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows ME or Windows 98.

The target PC should also have a CD-ROM drive and working USB port for connection to the Maxflash USB Cartridge Programmer.

• Multi-Cart Studio Software & Driver Installation CD

Software Installation Instructions

Insert the Multi-Cart Studio Installation CD into your CD-ROM drive.

The Multi-Cart Studio installer should start automatically, follow the prompts to complete the software installation.

Hardware and driver installation is covered in Chapter 2.

If the installer does not start automatically.

Press Start on the Windows task bar, then select 'Run'.

In the text box that appears, type 'D:\Maxflash_Studio_Installer.exe' and press ENTER.

If your CD-ROM drive does not have 'D' as its drive letter, substitute the correct drive letter
