There do exist a few very nice AtariMax Flash 1Mbit bin files which can be programmed into these nice 1Mbit flashcards.

Would it be possible withouth hacks to load these 1Mbit bin files into the 512Kbyte SRAM in the MyIDE ][ and let it run that 1Mbit MaxFlash image?

I am thinking of a nice World Karate Championship image for 1Mbit flashcard. It would be nice if we could run that from the MyIDE II.

Thanks
M.

Agreed. The cart is already incredible, but that would be even more incredible. Imagine the entire Atari software library on one cart.

MyIDE-II wasn't designed to simulate the bank switching mechanisms of the Maxflash 1mbit or 8mbit carts.

If there are source workbooks for those images available, I might be able to add support for exporting them to a FAT32 loadable format though.

If not, even then, it might be possible to convert the old images to something MyIDE-II compatible by patching them. Post a link or the actual file and when I have a free moment I'll give it a try.
