Been using the MyIDE II (happily) for about a year now. I'll be honest; I really disliked it at first, but once I got to know the nooks and crannies, it's now indispensable.

Well, I was doing some crazy experimenting and accidentally destroyed my partition table (no big worry, I have everything backed up).

I went through the setup like it was brand new; reformatting my CF etc.

It's all setup just like before, and working - - with one little problem.

During the setup I partitioned only 1 64MB "hard drive" for MyDos. Previously, I had 4 64MB partitions to use as HD's. Now when I try to add partitions it says I'm out of space/no partitions left. There is PLENTY of room on the CF; its a 32GB split 16GB Fat | 8GB MyDos | 8GB image space.

Maybe I did something different? Last time I set it up the same way, and it allowed me to add additional partitions for MyDos later.

The only thing I can think of is the 1st time I used whatever version of MyBios that came on the cart, since then I've flashed it and this time around used MyBios 4.? Beta ...

Any help is appreciated.

Default INIT indeed reserves the minimum space for partitions, maximum for images.
Depending on the card-geometry, this is roughly 250.000 sectors or 64mb in DD format.

To move it up, you need to change this boundary.
Please note, this will make any images already present useless.

Enter the MyIDE MENU, then select INIT again.
Select IMAGES
Move it UP 1 boundary.
Then ENTER,NO,NO
ESC and SAVE

That is about it.
Each boundary, yield about 250.000 sectors

Grtz,
Sijmen.
