Hi there

I'm trying to make a Flash cartridge image with the 3 main titles from JV Software:

1.- Journey to the Planets
2.- Action Quest
3.- Ghost Encounters.

Title #1 runs fine on XL machines, but 2 and 3 don't, they require a 400/800.
So I used the -osb flag when creating the Flash cartridge image, but
with no results. Only #1 works fine, but 2 and 3 display garbage on the screen and then freeze the machine.

Any ideas ?

Regards

Try using the -altptr option to move the EXE loader elsewhere in memory.

If that fails also try adding the -reinit option, some 800 games require it.

If that fails just post of copy of the EXE files you are using and I will take a look at them to see whats up. I was able to make carts out of the disk versions of these games so there shouldnt be too many issues with the exe versions that cant be solved.

Hi Classics

These are the EXEs I am trying to put in a single MaxFlash cartridge image:

- Journey to the Planets (XL/XE)
- Ghost Encounter (OS-B)
- Action Quest (OS-B)

Besides I've succeded only in making a MaxFlash cart image from a .ATR file containing the Ghost Encounter game only:

perl maxflash.pl -diskpacker "D:\Roklan\actionquest.atr" aquest_atr.bin -cart -osb

This works OK, but trying to make a Flash cart image from the EXE file directly, doesn't work:

perl maxflash.pl -exepacker "D:\Roklan\ActionQuest" aquest_exe.bin -cart -osb

I played with the -altptr and -reinit options with no results, too.

Could you please make a Flash cart image for me with the 3 games I attached here?

Thank you.

I believe this is the correct cartridge image.
