Just got this too and wondered too...

I'm using a debian based linux and just found out I can apt-get install cc65 cc65-doc! So, my vote on a follow up... <3

I wonder if Rasbian repos have cc65?

In case you haven't seen it, there is always the original AtariMax Perl scripts - (which I have never used, yet).

I too would like to see the GUI program function under Linux or macOS (I have to keep around an old Windows 10 laptop, for just this hardware and nothing else).

It may be easiest to get a Windows XP VM running in VirtualBox (assign it full control of USB). If I find my old XP CD, this is what I will try "first" so I can de-clutter and get rid of that annoying laptop :-)
