Hello, I am a newbie and have a question about how to dump a ROM using any of AtariMax products. The ROM could be 8k or 16k or even 1mbit. Basically any ROM. 1- Which product should I purchase if I want to dump a rom file from an Atari cartridge and store it on my PC (as a .rom or .bin file)? 2- Can you point me to a link where there a step-by-step process I could follow to get this done? Thanks a lot in advance. EDIT #1: I found this https://www.atarimax.com/flashcart/documentation/chapter9.html in the documentation, but do not know if this answers the "8k/16k/1mbit" ROM for the Atari 8-bit computer. Please clarify that for me. EDIT #2: Steve Tucker responded to me via email saying it was the MaxFlash USB Programmerhttps://www.atarimax.com/flashcart/ which comes with the software required to dump most Atari 8-bit cartridges including bank switched cartridges. No adapters are required. |
