Hello,

I'm trying to find an easy way to make ROMs from old Atari 2600, 5200, 7800 carts. I found the following steps for it here:

https://www.atarimax.com/flashcart/docu ... pter9.html

But my question is what file types does it make the ROM images? Will it be the most common ones used by most emulators? For example I think for 2600 emulators it's .bin files. I assume this is the case, but wanted to make sure.

Also the store page says that all sale pricing ends Jan 31st, but I am unable to tell if the Maxflash USB Programmer and adapters are currently marked down as a part of that. If so can anyone tell me what the price will revert back to?

Thanks in advance! :)

I would suggest not to focus on "the sale end date", Steve normally continues selling his products.
Prices stay the same most of the time.

As for the USB programmer, I have good experience with dumping 400/800/XL/XE-cartridges.

Most common are .bin or .rom files, the file itself is a raw binary dump.
The emulator will figure out what to do with it.

Sijmen.
