Hi,

I´m using APE 3.06 and the SIO2PC-USB adapter on a Windows XP 32-bit machine. All functions are working good and without any problems, but one feature doesn´t work right.

I often use D2: configured with a PC mirror to the path F:\ATARI, In this PC-subdirectory are mostly only up to 4 files, all files passes the 8-Bit filename needs (FILENAME.EXT). When I want to read a one megabyte (1.048.576 bytes) size file, this is no problem, not depending on which DOS i use (mostly XDOS 2.4 or myDOS 4.53/4). It works.

Now I want to write (from the 800 XL) a file back with the same size to the PC mirror - this always occured in an error. When I use SDX 4.45, writing is constantly immediately abrupted with error. When I use XDOS or myDOS, some data will be written and then an error occurs.

Any ideas who to make this right?

Thanks & excuse my english.

Regards, Jurgen

I had hoped you would have gotten a reply. I get a similar problem.
Most of the data is written, only a few bytes are corrupted.
