Hello, I was wonder what the deal was on joysticks & paddles. Do they work the same in APE or is there a lot of programming needed for this?

I'm the one who wrote the post so long ago. I've come to understand you hook up your Atari computer for this features.

Indeed, joysticks and paddles must be connected to an Atari computer. It has nothing to do with APE. APE is an Atari Floppy Drive emulator running on a PC and does not need joysticks or paddles. For APE you need a SIO2PC interface that connects your Atari to a PC.

Most games require a joystick connected to your Atari. A few games like Breakout require a paddle.

Would anyone know where to get an emulator that is win7 compatible that runs ATR's? I don't maybe I'm doing something wrong, but the ones I've seen so far want ROM's.
