Does anyone have a 16MB ATR of EXE games for use with MyPicoDOS that they are willing to share? I know a lot of people are/were working on compiling them. I was hoping to cut out a lot of work if someone else has already done it.

Done it, but not fine tuned. :( Some mix of [OSB], so not all games will work, on real hardware.( :? With MyIDE) I created these two atr's with a PC using MakeATR v.6, Atariwin800 4.0 'Emulator', Romcenter v2.71 to verify CRC and create a list of have roms. MyPicoDos to generate a bootable atr and edit PICONAME.TXT. Turbobasic progam to generate Piconame.txt. APE v3.02 to make a directory text file listing of atr's.

I tried to Attache a 12 Mb zip file, but it didn't attach. I will send via PM or email.

I'd be interested in checking it out too. I've been working on compiling an image that is based on Publisher (Atari, Activision, Synapse, Datasoft, etc.). I've been going through every single executable to make sure it runs ok, and is the most complete and clean copy I can find. It's very time consuming. I'd be happy to share the image I have too.

By the way, my image use piconame.txt for long filenames (as they are stored on the PC, so they are very descriptive). I use a windows program to generate the piconame.txt files from the PC folders. Then I copy the files using makeatr to the ATR image. It's a kind of clumsy process but it works, and the long file names look cool in mypicodos.

Hello guys,

I've spent the last 3 weeks selecting among all the XEX games i had here, to make a 16MB ATR image with the best ones.

As it may be of general interest, i decided to share this with you guys.

I'm planning to do more images with Demos and Utils, but will take some time until i can sort the most appealing to me.

This image uses Tom's Commander as the default launcher.

Enjoy!

Very Cool JR !!

Thank you very much !

Would be cool if more people share their image files with us !

I'm still looking for the best laucher for my images. MyPDos seems to be really the best, but is the one that gives most work to get fully configured, with all the long names.

Anyway, expect some more images from me soon !

Thanks very much. Good work.

What do you use to make 16Mo ATR ?

(I tested with makeatr : create 16Mo blank + atadim to put game but not completed full)
