Hi,

I have a MyIDE + Flash 1mb from about ~17 years ago. That's also about the last time I programmed it. It is running MyBIOS-F 4.6.10.

Do I want to upgrade that to MyBIOS 4.8.05?

Or should I try the MyIDE+Flash 1mb v3.5F?

They seem to be quite different. Does one flash both? Or just one or the other?

Also, I can't seem to boot an ATR from APE (3.0.2 with an SIO2PC rs232 running on 32-bit Win XP) with the MyIDE + Flash cartridge in. I hold option, turn it on and I get the bios version then it loads basic. APE is working otherwise, if I have no cart in I can boot from it no problem.

I've been poking around the document and the Atarimax website etc but they all seem to describe how to use the later version of the BIOS or something completely different.

Cheers,
Doug

Hi Dough,
Been away on holidays, have to check.
No idea what is better, this is an old device and it has been ages since I coded or worked with it.
I have a look, back later his week.
Grtz, Sijmen.

yes, the 4.8.05 recompiled is the latest update.
it's an atr, you have to boot with your atari.
called the 4.8.0A version

with the option disable cartridge and coldstart, you should be able to boot from sio and load this atr.
follow the instructions on screen.

succes,
Sijmen.
