Post subject:  Good file loaders for SpartaDOS ?

Hey guys,

As i'm back using my Atari, thanks to MyIDE DIY (thanks again Sijmen!), i'm only discovering some things now, after years. So i need some help from you guys.

I've tried SpartaDOS 3.3 and must tell that it's really amazing!

The problem right now is to find a good alternative to PDOS, that works fine with Sparta.

I've tried Filesel, but it cannot reach any of my subdirectories :-(

Also, where can i find goot utilities and tools for SpartaDOS 3.3?

I used to use a loader for sparta disks called xspload.dos. You format your sparta disks with xspload.dos instead of x32d.dos, or whatever Sparta dos you normally use.

The file is posted here: ... xsploa.dos

and the documentation is here: ... xsploa.doc

Not sure what it has to do with my-ide though.

I tweaked the game/demo/binary loader called "MSDOS" (MicroSpartaDOS) from BeWesoft so it works with MyIDE.

That one works perfect with MyIDE and SpartaDOS.

It is stored somewhere her in this forum. I included a 16MB format tool for SpartaDOS 3.3a on that ATR.

If you can't find it, contact me again. I'll search then.
