I was playing around with the "Atari Graphics Studio v2.53" and managed to create some 160x192x4 ".pic" images for the Atarimax Ultimate Multicart for the Atari 5200.
Extract the "Images" folder and place it under the "5200" folder on the SD card.
Also, be sure that your ROM names match the Image names (excluding the .suffix).

Due to the nature of this format, all images are limited to 4 colors.
But see what you think.

I used simple names for all of the Games ex. Popeye.pic, Popeye.txt
Make sure the ROMS match accordingly ex. Popeye.bin in order for MultiCart to detect them.

For cartridge images, place the associated '.PIC' file in the '\5200\Images' directory (160x192x4)
For manuals, place the associated '.TXT' file in the '\5200\Manuals' directory (max 40b per line)
For box art images, place the associated '.PIC' file in the '\5200\Boxes' directory (160x192x4)

Make sure your game ROM name (excluding the ROM suffixes) match the file name in
the Images, Manuals, Boxes directory (if any).
Valid 5200 ROMs= .ROM, .A52, .BIN, .STO, .HYB

ex.
ROM PACMAN.BIN would match
Images\PACMAN.PIC
Manual\PACMAN.TXT
Boxes\PACMAN.PIC

ROM PACMAN (Ghost Eyes Hack).BIN would not match any of those.

While displaying the Atarimax menu:
Press 1 to display the cartridge image for highlighted game
Press 3 to display the manual for highlighted game
Press 7 to display the boxart for highlighted game

To view the Atari Images on your PC, install recoil-4.3.1-win32 .
