Stupid question;
atarimax is in the device list?
Also, but I don't look at that anymore,
Ape must be the usb version.
Anyhow, I have a look tomorrow.

Device-manager shows my Atarimax SIO2USB device.
No warning sign, so succesfull installation.
Windows 10, but 7 looks the same.

In APE (USB only), status screen at boot up, then I disconnected the USB and re-connected.

When I start APE, one LED on the Atarimax lights up.

Grtz, Sijmen.

Your device is not installed.
Run the installer again, perhaps you need to run it as admin. During installation force windows perhaps to ignore the drivers signature.

Ape runs ok. When no device is found, it assumes an old fashion serial sio2pc (that need no installation, since it is not a smart device)

So, you need to install the atarimax usb driver.

I own this device now. I bought it from rcamp.

Windows 10 laptop. Plug it in.. this is what I get.. device has one bright blue LED lit.

I cannot point it to the 64bit drivers.. it is autodetecting this device.

I have no CD rom.. so I cannot put the CD in.. but I have no installer program.

James
I am also a licenced owner of an SIO2PC serial device.

Hi James,
The drivers are in the first post.
Didn't Russ contact Steve directly?
I am not a widows expert, but the screen you show me, looks like a faulty device?
I had Win7, now on Win10, never had an issue with SIO2PC(USB).
Please contact Steve, directly.
Grtz, Sijmen.

P.S.
After (successfully) installing the driver:
When you (re-)plug it in, on my device, nothing lights up.
When you run APE (USB-only), APE-status windows detects the device, and it lights up.
Be sure the status-windows does not report that a SIO2PC on COM is used.

Well I am having the same issue. It appears WIN 10 dropped the VCP drivers during an update.
My dual usb works but prosys does not see a com port for D1:
Additionally, I had a registered version and now I have been bumped down to 3.0.2
I can now download the new drivers and the 3.0.12?
I bought two of the units and thought I killed one of them.. My 1050 power supply died in the process.. boot error........
We will see...

Douglas
