Just curious, I was wondering why Super Action Football wasn't included in the romlib.ini and Beamrider is in there twice? Not terribly important but I was just wondering. :)

Beamrider could be in there twice because I had two different roms for it. Even if they are the same rom but the sizes are different it will make a seperate entry.

I must not have ever tried SA Football. :D

OK, is there anything special about the "other" Beamrider ROM? I just did a search of a few ROM sites and all of them only have one version. But if there nothing special about it then I'm not going to bother looking for it. 8)

The one I have is:
[05784ff95d122cb28eb8c37ec81a52a1]
DESCRIPTION=Beamrider
CRC32=781098306
FORMAT=0

I also have a few oddball ROMs that are missing from the romlib, that I got from somewhere, that I can send you, if you want.

I believe they are the same rom, just one of them is already padded to 32k. The rom I see floating around is 16k unpadded.

Sure thanks, post the entries from the DB and I will add them to the default list. :)

Thanks

OK, thanks.

Another question, how are you computing the CRC32 for you ROMs? The ones I have don't match yours, the MD5s are fine though.

Mitch,

I believe its a standard CRC32 implementation. The numbers are 32-bit unsigned values, but stored in the file as signed integers.

OK, I think I figured out what the problem was, you had your CRC32s listed in decimal, all of my programs wanted to show them as hex. A quick conversion using Windows calc and now they are in decimal format. :)

Mitch,

Thanks, I have added your signatures to the installer on the web page. :)
