When I want to delete a file from the PC Mirror, I must do one of two things:

1) Eject the PC Mirror file from APE so that its files are no longer considered "in use" by Windows. Then I can use Windows (My Computer, etc.) to delete the file in question.

-or-

2) Delete the file from the Atari, so then it is no longer considered "in use" by Windows, and it can be deleted with Windows without ejecting the PC Mirror first.

This also means that if you are replacing an existing file under Atari program control, it causes an error, since the Atari is not allowed to delete the existing file.

Not a really big deal, but is there some way around this "two-step" deleting process?

What version of APE are you using? I ran into this "in use" problem, and Steve fixed in a recent version. Basically what I found, is that if I loaded a file on the Atari, it would be "in use" even if I exited that program on the Atari.

Hi Shawn-

Registered 3.0.4 (with USB). I *think* that is the latest version.
