Has anyone done this? I have a nice 320K 4-chip XE and I'd like to put a 32-in-1 in it, also.

I'm guessing that the connections won't be quite the same.

I did find R87. I can't find R40. Center solder pad???

Sorry for the off-the-wall question, but when I get this installed OK, I'll send pics so that others can find the connections more easily.

Edit/Update:

I now have found R40, so assuming that those resistor connections remain the same, that only leaves me with the solder pad connection.

Update:

Well, I got it connected and working, and as soon as Steve confirms that I have it connected properly, I'll send the pics and details.

info:
This later 130xe board (4chip) is massively used in the European models 65xe and 800xe to dump there stock.
Missing the extra 64K and XE-chip.
Same 2 chip RAM is used in the XEGS.

Check the GTIA-ship. Could be the buggy taiwan production.
ballblazer cartridge will do fine, the intro is scrambled if buggy.

Cheers,
Sijmen.

Hi Sijmen-
That's interesting -- didn't know that. I have a couple XEGS -- I ought to open them and see what they have (other than that weird keyboard with pastel function keys.)
